Dr. James P. Torosian

Dr. James Torosian dr. torosianreceived his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1983. Afterwards, he completed a general practice residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in NY and then served as the chief resident in the Department of Dentistry from 1984-85. He returned to the University of Pennsylvania to complete his graduate training in Periodontology in 1988, and has been practicing Periodontics and implant dentistry since that time. His interests include implants and periodontal esthetic surgery, and he has authored or co-authored numerous articles and book chapters on these subjects.

Dr. Torosian has been actively involved in teaching since the completion of his training. From 1988 through 1995 he was an assistant professor at Thomas Jefferson University and has been at Temple University School of Dentistry since 1992, where he is currently a professor in the Department of Periodontics.
