Andrew Rosen, DMD

Dr. Andrew M. Rosen graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1983. He dr. rosen is a member of the Matthew H. Cryer Honor Society of the University of Pennsylvania. As founder of the Rose Tree Dental Group in 1987, he has created a group practice that strives to deliver comprehensive dental treatment in a professional, yet relaxed atmosphere.

Dr. Rosen has pursued a career in the practice of general and family dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association and Delaware County Dental Society. Additional memberships include the American College of Oral Implantology, The American Society of Osseointegration, and The International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Rosen resides in Wynnewood, PA with his wife Janet. He is an "empty nester" as his son Matt and daughter Rachel are actively advancing their own careers. His interests include all sports and he continues to play basketball regularly at the J.C.C. in Wynnewood. He enjoys traveling around the country and the world pursuing specialty beers.

Andrew Lieberman, DMD

Dr. Andrew Lieberman has been part of the Rose Tree Dental Group since 1998, when he was still a student at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. andrewOriginally from New York, Dr. Lieberman migrated to the Philadelphia area for his dental education, and has been here ever since. Upon graduation in 2000 he entered a one year hospital based dental residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center in downtown Baltimore. While on hospital staff in this urban setting, Dr. Lieberman honed his skills related to the dental management of emergency and trauma patients, medically complex patients, as well as treating the routine dental needs of the underserved Baltimore population.

Returning to this area upon completion of his residency, Dr. Lieberman has been practicing general and family dentistry at Rose Tree Dental since 2001. A member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association and Delaware and Chester County Dental Societies, Dr. Lieberman is continually advancing his knowledge and skills through continuing education seminars and hands-on training in order to provide the best dental care available. He also currently serves on the board of accreditation for a local technical institute, overseeing the curriculum in their dental assistant training program. Dr. Lieberman lives in the Broomall area with his wife, Lauren and his two children, Jordan and Jack. His interests include photography, cycling and he is a self-proclaimed expert at outdoor grilling.

Anastassios T Koussis, DDS

Dr. Koussis was born and raised in Southern Greece. He completed his secondary education (gymnasium) in 1952 and in January of 1954 was accepted by Columbia University in New York for his undergraduate pre-dental education leading to a Bachelor of Science degree.

In 1957 he was accepted by the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, and graduated dr. koussisin the top third of his class in 1961. Upon graduation he was asked to join the faculty of the Department of Restorative Dentistry, and remained on the faculty until 1972 while pursuing the development of his own private practice in Springfield, Delaware County.

Dr. Koussis has been in “semi-retirement” mode since 2000, when he joined the Rose Tree Dental Group. He travels between Florida, where he resides, and Media every month to treat his long-standing and new patients. He has no plans for a full retirement in sight.

Dr. Koussis continues to further his dental education through numerous courses and seminars throughout the year and keeps himself busy playing tennis, jogging (he ran his first 13 mile half-marathon successfully in 2010), biking and photographing nature. When he is in Pennsylvania, he enjoys spending time with his son and two daughters, their families, and his four grandsons ranging in age between 9 and 13.

Dr. Koussis has been awarded a membership in the O.K.U. Honor Society of the University of Pennsylvania and has been given the Earl Bank’s Award of Excellence in Teaching. He has achieved the status of Fellow of the Academy of Oral Physiology and Occlusion as well as of the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Dental Association, the Delaware-Chester Counties Dental Society and the International Society of Police and Forensic Surgeons.
